September 2010:

September 4th and 5th  Hancock Volunteer Fire Dept 43rd Annual Firemen's Labor day Celebration. Sept 4th - open house 10am-2pm at fire station. Sept 5th - parade at noon. Refreshments, BBQs, Brats, Hot Dogs served 11am - midnight. Co-ed sand volleyball tournament 2 pm call Cody 715-249-5456 to signup 50% payback $25 entry fee per team. Games, raffles, children/couples/firemen water fights. Music by South Bound 8-midnight. At Hancock Fire Station.

September 3rd  'Golden Sands Speedway-Budweiser Shoot Out!' 7:45 pm All the Feature Winners For 2010 to compete for the top honor! FIREWORKS!

September 10th 'Golden Sands Speedway-Wreckfest '10'  7:45 pm

September 11th  Plainfield Business Association presents the Street Spree Raffle - 6pm @ Plainfield Municipal Building 1st prize 2010 Harley Davidson Dyna motorcycle, other prizes include 14 ft Lowe boat, gas grill, TV, and KitchenAid center.

September 11th 7th Wisconsin Rapids Lions Fall Brew Review' 1:00 pm @ Wisconsin Rapids Lions Club   3331 10th St. So. Wisconsin Rapids. Book exchange at all branches of Bancroft State Bank. Bring in a book to exchange or purchase one. Proceeds to go to local charities.

October 5th Okoberfest Business Expo @ The Ridges in Wisconsin Rapids - 3pm Booths from 3:00 - 9:00 p.m. Set-up from Noon - 2:30 p.m. Entertainment from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m.

November 2010:

Nov. 4th    A performance of "Say Goodnight Gracie" @ 7.30pm - Performing Arts Center. The PAC is an 833 seat proscenium theatre located on the campus of Lincoln High School at 1801 16th Street South, Wisconsin Rapids. The Life, Laughter and Love of George Burns & Gracie Allen.
 

Nov 5th & 6th  bring your shred to Kellner Community Bank or Plainfield Community Bank for disposal  at no charge. Friday Night 3:30-5:30  Saturday 9:00-11:00 

Nov 12th & 13th bring your shred to Saratoga or Hancock Community Bank for disposal at no charge.     Friday Night 3:30-5:30  Saturday 9:00-11:00
